Enter the name of your commander and click "Load". You can shorten it and leave out punctuation as long as you include enough to identify it (i.e. "miirym" instead of "Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm).
If your commander is from a Universes Beyond product that has a Universes Within printing, use the in-universe name
The tool reports 3 values, plus a list of "signature cards".
Each of these values is presented with a graph showing the distribution of that value across all commanders. Each bar shows how many commanders have values in each range, and the range with your commander is highlighted in red with a black line pointing to your commander's exact location.
This is a measure of how much variation there is between decks with this commander. The higher the entropy score is, the more ways there are to build around a commander. This is a logarithmic scale, so a commander with 1 more entropy than another will have twice as much variety in their decks.
This is based in part on EDHREC's own synergy metric, which measures the difference between a card's inclusion rate in a deck and it's inclusion rate in all decks of the same color identity. Our version calculates how much more likely the cards are to be in this deck than they are to be in an any other deck in those same colors. The higher the synergy score is, the more specific the commander's synergy is.
We consider cards that are played in less than 1% of decks "hipster cards", and this tells you how much of the deck they make up. This is another way of determining how many niche strategies a commander enables
These are the cards that are run more often with this commander than any other. This is based on the portion of the commander's decks they appear in instead of the total number, so unlike the card pages on EDHREC this does not favor popular commanders.Â
Kenrith's entropy is 2.23, a very high value that matches his ability to support anything.
His synergy is 2.1, a very low value that reflects his lack of commitment to any niche theme.
His decks average 3.8% hipster cards, a low value that reflects the way he allows brewers to fill their decks with 5-color staples
He has no signature cards due to the fact that he does not support any specific strategy
Urtet's entropy is 1.45, a very low value that highlights the limited card pool available for his myr tribal synergies.
His synergy is 34, an extremely high value that shows that he is embracing a very niche tribe
His decks average 28.3% hipster cards, a fairly high value that largely consists of the myr that most decks ignore
He has 31 signature cards, reflecting his status as the default commander for myr.
