Honorable mentions for deckbuilding challenge - November
Dante's stax Peacock deck
A definite strength of Senator Peacock is that she allows for artifact sacrificing at any time, which can enable a stax player to axe an undesirable piece whenever it stops suiting their whims.
Moldyboi's combo Peacock deck
I like the range of different interweaving plans here—some compact combos played alongside eggs, flying beats, and other elements.
Kitchen Dragonmaid's ninjas Peacock deck
Ninjas and their focus on both artifacts and dealing combat damage make for a nice pairing with Senator Peacock. Powerstones are a great inclusion here.
Salmon's hulk comboShizuko deck
A number of decks chose to capitalize on Shizuko's explosive mana boost to land a 7 drop early, and using that mana to hardcast a Protean Hulk is a pretty entertaining variation on that idea.
PhysicsIsASuggestion's storm Shizuko deck
Storm is an odd choice in mono-green, but this decklist makes it work. Using Shizuko as a jump-start to storm turns is definitely a relatively unique take on the commander.
Therion's facedown creatures Shizuko deck
This is a creative and satisfying spin on Shizuko. The fact that her mana is the perfect amount to play a morph every turn wouldn't have occurred to me, but I appreciate the Kadenna we have at home.
KageMusha'sflexible combo Eomer deck
This is an intriguing decklist, particularly its choice of tutors. Rather than play Gambles, this deck sticks to Kudoltha Forgemaster, Goblin Engineer, and friends, along with a healthy treasure package. Cool stuff!
Lyndis's goblins Eomer deck
Goblins are a great idea for a creature type to complement Eomer, and there's way more synergy than I had expected. Saccables like Tuktuk, attack and tap abilities like the Krenkos—there's a ton of great stuff here.
Flamberge's budget pingers Eomer deck
This is pretty hilarious as a low-power version of Eomer. Why waste space on sac outlets when you can simply run small enough legendaries to get pinged down?
Amishradio's Haakon/Nazgul Egon deck
I love secret commander decks, and this one is no exception. The snow set commander/snow set secret commander pairing is a nice touch, and could even be amplified with some snow lands.
Yellowcake's Convergence of Dominion Egon deck
I had never heard of this card before seeing this deck, and it's a cool one! I also like the idea of enabling the commander requirement with a chair—definite flavor win there.
Misanthrope's toolbox control Egon deck
Throne of Death is a nice incremental value engine, and I love to see it paired with a number of other engines in order to build graveyard value over time.
Hitan's budget control Yomiji deck
This is a great decklist, there's an impressive amount going on here for the budget. Putting a bit of more effort put into the lands package, though tricky on a budget, would really take it over the top.
ZonkoTheGreat's artifact toolbox Yomiji deck
This deck's heavy focus on cost-reducers is a fun one, and opens up play lines with a ton of different artifacts that might otherwise be mediocre afterthoughts.
Oatmeal's superfriends Yomiji deck
There were a number of superfriends submissions, and what set this one apart was its well-roundedness. It includes 13 planeswalkers, but also a number of creatures and artifacts that go well with them.
